Mini Gears: Mayhem
Building a roguelite arena shooter with my best friend. Took it from a 3-day prototype to a convention showcase, won Game of the Year at our university, then rewrote it from scratch into a proper product.

I’m a software developer from Denmark with a Bachelor in Software Development and a thing for building tools that make other people’s work easier. I got into programming about four years ago when a friend convinced me to join him in a game-focused CS program, and I quickly found myself hooked.
My CS studies were centered around C# and .NET, with some C++, Python, and React mixed in as well. The program worked in cycles: a couple of weeks of lectures followed by a couple of weeks building real projects in small teams. Getting hands-on experience really helped truly understand the material.
During my bachelor's, it transitioned into DevOps, CI/CD, microservices, Docker, and graphics programming. It was more about what technologies to use and how to architect real-world systems, which is what interested me a lot.
When I'm not coding, you can find me spending time with my girlfriend, playing video games, experimenting with 3D modelling or enjoying the outdoors with my dog.
